MOS/MCAS Certification

Submitting Proof | If you do not pass? | Practice tests

If you pass the MOS/MCAS certification test you will get a 100 in place of any missing work or a low grade.

To get credit for your MOS exam you must send me a copy of your MOS results.

When you receive your MOS Certificate it comes with a letter that states it is possible to view the MOS certificates online. When doing so you can also authorize others to view them (manager, instructor, etc.)

It will state something like:

View Your Certifications: To see your certification

Authorize Another Viewer: To Authorize a third party, such as your professor, to view your real-time, digital Certiport Transcript.

When you authorize a third party, and enter their email address (in my case winter@scf.edu), and I will receive an email that looks like the one below:

Joe Smith has authorized you to view his/her Authenticated Digital Transcript of Certifications from the Certiport secure site. To view the up-to-date records click on the link below:

My Digital Transcript of Certifications

You can contact Joe Smith directly by clicking on the email address listed on the Digital Transcript.

If you do not pass?

If you do not pass the MOS certification test, you can take it again. If you do not pass the test, mail me a copy of your results and I will use the certification test grade in place of any missing work or your lowest grade. For instance if you get an 82 you will pass and get a 100 in place of any missing work or a low grade, after I receive verification. If you get a 69, you will not get certified but I will count the 69 in place of a missing or low grade, if you send me a copy of your test results.

Using practice exams from the company that makes the exams is the best way to go.
